Happy Valentine's Day

Adysen and I decorated sugar cookies for Valentine's Day. She enjoyed licking the icing off of her cookies. Yummy!!

This is Adysen's smile when we ask her to smile for the camera:

Lovebugs...I got the idea from Our Best Bites. I happened to already have the cookies made and ready to frost when they posted the lovebug idea on Friday.

Thanksgiving - Trip to Washington

For Thanksgiving we flew to Washington to spend a few days with the Alexanders. We enjoyed flying and it was so nice not to be driving through the storms.

Adysen had lots of fun painting and drawing with her grandma.

She also helped Grandma cook and do the dishes. Here she is making gingerbread cookies and walls to make houses.

Alton helped his dad put up a wall in the garage. It was good practice for the walls he will be putting up in our basement.

We had lots of fun playing Scum. The girls enjoyed hanging out with their aunts and uncle. We enjoyed having some free arms. :)

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. We enjoyed having Alton's brother Ben stay with us and it was fun to see Calene and Eric over the weekend. We watched General Conference and enjoyed being taught by our Prophet and other General Authorities. We are grateful for the Savior and the sacrifice He made so that we can use His Atonement and someday have eternal life. We know that He lives!

The Easter Bunny left a few eggs for Adysen to find (filled with some hair clips -- better than candy and just as exciting for Adysen).

Adysen also got her first baby doll. Adysen is teaching her how to drink the bottle.

Daddy is showing Adysen how to make a "baby burrito" as Adysen's pediatrician said and demonstrated to us when she was born.

Adysen enjoyed coloring while listening to the talks.

Easter Eggs

For Family Night we dyed Easter eggs. It was a lot of fun. Adysen especially liked standing on the chair. However, afterwards she realized that she could drag the chair across the room and climb up on it on her own. One more thing to "baby proof."

We had to tickle her to get her to smile. She is so serious when we get out the camera lately.

Not the greatest picture of me...but I guess I've been hiding from the camera...I haven't been in a picture in a long time. :)

Trip to Washington

We had a wonderful time in Washington with the Alexanders. Adysen loved cooking with her grandma and watching the cats. She is still calling animals "kitties." It appears that we didn't use our camera very much while we were in Washington. We will have to get some more pictures from the Alexanders and from Jenica.

Here are a couple of Christmas morning:

Making hard candy with Grandma Alexander

Adysen enjoyed sleeping in her Great Grandpa's arms:

We found out that Adysen loves Spaghetti. We are not sure if she chews her noodles, but she sure enjoys slurping them in. :)

We ate at a fancy seafood restaurant in Portland. We also went to Tacoma and ate at Ivar's in the mall. We were excited to find out that we didn't have to drive all the way up to the Pier in Seattle to get our favorite fish & chips and clam chowder.
