Adysen and I went to the Zoo with one of my friends and her kids. We enjoyed looking at the animals. There were lots of baby animals at the zoo. Adysen seemed to notice more of the animals this time than she did earlier this summer when we went.

Happy Grandparents Day!
We want to let all of our grandparents (and Adysen's grandparents :) ) know how much we love you! You are remarkable people! We feel so blessed to have you in our lives. We put together a small collage of Adysen's pictures from the last couple of weeks. She is so much fun and it is hard to believe that she is growing so fast! We love you and miss you!

Pushing a Stroller
At the beginning of September we were playing outside and Adysen saw this stroller. She pushed it almost the entire way around our court. Later we found out that the stroller belongs to one of Aydsen's friends. Since she isn't using it anymore, they let us borrow it for a little while. Adysen loves pushing it around our house, back and forth. As soon as we brought it into our apartment, she even figured out how to put her toys in it and push them around with her.

Red Butte Garden
On Labor Day we went to the Red Butte Garden. It seems that it is free every year on Labor Day since we did the same thing last year. This year, I kept rushing us along because I wanted to see everything. Finally near the end, Alton asked me why I was hurrying so fast. I told him that I remembered the trails being really long last year. He looked at me and reminded me that they were a lot shorter than they appeared to be on the map. I guess the difference was last year I was 8 months pregnant and not in very good shape (we had to make a lot of stops to rest), thus the trails felt really long to me. Now I am used to walking 3 miles each morning and the trails were a lot shorter and easier. I guess we didn't have to rush after all! :)

Don't forget to shut the door!
One morning when I was getting ready, I stepped out of the bathroom for a few minutes to grab something. When I returned I found Adysen playing with the toilet paper. She was so excited and interested in it, that I just had to watch and take pictures.

What a Summer!
I guess it has been a couple of months since I have posted on our blog. It has been a crazy summer for us. I have been teaching two classes online. They have been keeping me extremely busy. I will be taking a break from teaching this fall, which will be nice. This way I will have a chance to spend more time being a mom.
Adysen is growing so fast. Over the last couple of months she has learned how to stand up while holding onto things. Now she pulls up on everything! She has two teeth on the bottom now. Well, they are still just coming in. I think if you click on the picture below you can see a little bit of a tooth. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Adysen is now 10 months old. She is so much fun!
We went to a BBQ the other night with some friends. Adysen loved eating watermelon. I never realized how dark watermelon juice was before. I am so glad we have a washer and dryer in our apartment now. :)
What a fun box to play in! Check out those blue eyes! Everybody loves them.
Look what I can reach! The last month I have done a lot of baby proofing.
Don't worry, after taking this picture I moved all the food into boxes.
We enjoyed spending time with the Alexanders when they came to Utah for a family reunion in July. We had a lot of fun participating in the various activities, but most of all we enjoyed making memories and being with our family. Adysen had a lot of fun with her aunts, uncles, and grandparents!
Grandpa and Grandma Alexander and their children, grand children, and great-grandchildren. Adysen is on Grandma's lap. Alton and I are in the back row 4th and 5th from the left.
