Maternity Photos

I have been avoiding the camera for the last few months. Actually, we just don't take a lot of pictures and when we do, we take pictures of Adysen. A couple of weeks ago I realized that if I wanted any pictures of being pregnant this time around, I better hurry and take them. So, I told Alton that he could be my professional photographer. These were taken just before 37 weeks.

June Overview

Here are just a few pictures of June.

Adysen has discovered that she prefers to drink her milk directly off of her tray. I'm hoping she grows out of it soon!

We bought a new rocker/recliner for the nursery -- YAY! Adysen loves playing with the box! Alton made a window for her and a little back door! She has lots of fun playing with her house box. She likes to peek out the window or door and say "Hi!"

Adysen likes helping us with our wire business. She enjoyed "helping" Alton take pictures of our new products.

Adysen loves shoes!! She is an expert at putting on her own shoes. I think she was even saying "shoes" in this picture. :)

So Sleepy! I realized that I can french braid her hair. It is so cute...but I had a hard time getting a good picture of it.
Adysen and I went to the park with our friends. Adysen especially liked playing in the little house and with the wood chips.

I made homemade freezer jam for the first time by myself. I am beginning to realize how many things I should have learned while I was still living at home. However, the jam turned out great. This is rhubarb raspberry jam. I made a few batches of strawberry. Yummy!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day Weekend in Idaho with my family. We had a lot of fun spending time with my grandparents, parents, and sisters. We were even able to attend the monthly Family Home Evening with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Adysen took this picture of Anessa. I think she is going to be quite the photographer!

Hummingbirds

We went with Mom and Grandpa and Grandma Leyshon to see the hummingbirds at a ranch near American Falls. The hummingbirds stop at this ranch every year as they are migrating. There are hundreds of hummingbirds. They tag the little hummingbirds on Memorial Day weekend. It was neat to watch them carefully catch and tag them. They even calmed the hummingbirds down and let us hold them. The one I held stayed in my hand for a few seconds...long enough to get a couple of pictures. It was neat to feel it's tiny heart beating.

Holding the hummingbird. That's my grandma standing next to me. :)

Family Picture

It's been a while since we have taken a picture of the three of us....so here is a little picture. This was a couple of weeks ago and I was about 31 weeks pregnant.

Diapers

One day Adysen decided that her baby needed a diaper.

We are going to have a great little helper when baby sister is born.

Our Business is branching out to Social Networking.

We have decided that it is about time for our business to join the social networking frenzy. We tried this a little last fall, but I quickly got discouraged when I realized we didn't have many followers. However, I now have a new burst of enthusiasm and I'm excited to try it again. I have to admit that I'm still learning about all of these social networking sites, but it'll be a fun little adventure.

If You're Happy and You Know It

Adysen loves the song "If You're Happy and You Know It." She gets excited to clap her hands and tap her toes. But our favorite is when she blinks her eyes. We love this huge smile she gives us when she tries to blink...SO CUTE!

(It's a challenge to keep those ponytails in all day)

Landscaping

A couple of weeks ago weeks ago we started landscaping our yard. We appreciated having Alton's parents and Ben here to help us. Here are some before and after shots. Tell us what you think.
