A Weekend with the Alexanders

We were so lucky and happy to have our Alexander family come see us at the beginning of September. We love them all so much!!

Adysen loves the digital camera! Part of the challenge of updating our blog is sifting though the hundreds of pictures to find the best ones to post. Often I come across some interesting photos taken by the littlest photographer in our family (luckily Kaitlynn hasn't quite hit this stage yet and is still willing to have her photo taken without reaching for the camera).

Who knew washable crayons could write so well on skin?! We grabbed the mirror so she could see how messy her face was...

Thanks Mom and Dad....it is much easier to apply my makeup while looking in a mirror!!

One Month Old!

Has it really been a month?! I can hardly believe that Kaitlynn is already a month old. She is growing so fast. She is such a happy and content little girl. She loves looking at us. I'm not sure when she started really smiling, but now she will smile when she sees us. So cute!

Adysen loves laying next to her. She thinks that Kaitlynn should sleep in her toddler bed with her at night. I am so excited to watch these two sisters grow up and play with each other. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Playing at McDonalds

Saturday night we decided to stop by McDonalds on our way home from shopping. We ate a smoothie and Adysen enjoyed playing on the slides. We were happy to see the sign that said parents could play too. What a fun family night!

Cooking with Mommy

Last week Adysen helped me make dinner. She is such an excellent helper.

Tasting the bread dough...

After dinner I let our homemade "hot pockets" cool before freezing them. Adysen must have really liked them because she pulled a stool up to the pan and started picked off and eating pieces of one. Yummy! (Don't worry the pan was cool by then).
