Baby Girl

Last Friday we went in for our mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Our baby is developing right along schedule with everything measuring perfectly. She looks so cute.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Today we had another check up. Everything is going great with the baby. It's little heart is beating and it seems to be growing right on schedule. In about four weeks we will be able to go in again and it can have it's second ultrasound. Maybe we will even be able to see if we are going to be buying dresses or ties.

The Spencers

Last night Alton and I went to The Spencers Illusion show on campus at BYU-I. It is advertised as one of the largest touring illusion shows. I found it very amazing. Alton is pretty sure that he knows how every illusion was done. He is very smart and very good with the mechanics of it all, so I think he is probably right with all the ones he told me. So, then I told him I didn't want to hear any more because I kind of liked not knowing. Even though I know that they were all "illusions" and not "reality" as Keven Spencer explained at the beginning of the show. Exciting News

So, I guess you can tell from the ticker at the top of the page....But guess what!! I'm pregnant! I am super excited. However, I'm not really sure if October will ever come. So, today marks a very special day. The day that all the "morning" sickness should stop! I have been feeling much better this last week...I am starting to get my appetite back. Then this morning I realized that maybe I will need to be patient a little bit longer.

Nevertheless, we are both super excited to be parents. I am even more excited that now I can start telling others my exciting news. One of these days I will take some pictures and post them--I've kind of been avoiding cameras the last little while.

Getting Started

So, I have never done anything like this before. I'm not really sure why I even decided to try this. I guess it was kind of a spur of the moment decision. So, I signed up for a blog. Maybe I will update it periodically, maybe it will make up for my lack of journal writing (I know, I know, I really should be better).
